Connie

We had an attempted break-in yesterday. 11th Nov.  Alpha Alarms phoned me at work and reported that the alarm had gone off.   It was only when we return in the afternoon we noticed a metal pipe lying on the grass outside the bathroom window and realised that the bathroom window had been opened further than it should which had activated the alarm.

It appears whoever it was gained access from the property next door to us, but they had to come over a razor wire fence to do it!

Nothing damaged or taken, but still an attempt and maybe it shows that they are once again active in the Burne Road area!  We are still plagued with the dense vegetation at the back of the Burne Road properties which could hide an army.

To all at CCPO

Thank you very much for responding so quickly to my call regarding a possible break-in occurring at  Shepstone Road today.  It is a huge comfort knowing that there are so many caring people.  It was a silver Toyota Corolla with two b/males, one wearing a blue overall.  ADT did see their car parked on the off-ramp to Durban as I had indicated but then they disappeared.

They may have seen me watching them because as my husband said, if I can see them, they can see me, which probably made them go off.   Thank you once again to everyone for coming out.  You guys are amazing!

Kind regards,
Jenny

A big thank you to CCPO – I tried to report an incident to the police and
could not get through on 3 numbers. I phoned CCPO office, who gave me the
emergency no. Within 5 minutes they reported back that they had caught the
offender, who had beaten up a lady and literally kicked her to the ground
outside our school. The offender was delivering the papers.

CCPO you are stars – what would the community do without you.
Thank you

HEATHER

I was Hi-Jacked

My car was abandoned, on the corner of Adams Road and Kingsway, with yes damage to my rims and cards that were stopped, but, My handbag was still in the car with only my wallet gone.... they only also took the "ashtray with change" yes with the help of the community not even an half hour after the ordeal my work bag was found out on the Umbumbulu Road...

What I am trying to say:

A very special thank you to George Snodey, I could phone him and he immediately contacted Carel Grobler, SAPS, his quick response together with Carel and my Anti-Hi-Jack, caused my car to be found immediately.  George telephoned me within minutes, "they found my car" A special thank you to Blue Security for also being there immediately and looking after my car until my car was taken to Amanzimtoti SAPS...

A special thank you to Carel Grobler, for his quick response to my case He and his team were more than wonderful, with all the support.

Another special thank you to Adel of Safe-Care - with full support through my whole ordeal.

Thank you to everyone for all the love and support.

Linda

Keep up the good work CCPO - do you know how many other areas in Natal envy us and wish that there were branches of CCPO in other areas of Durban too!!!

Keep smiling and keep going - well done

Nola Muller

I dread the day that I will need to contact your offices - but thank you all from the bottom of my heart that you are there for us when we do need you.

Kind regards and keep up the good work.

A huge thank you for keeping "those of us who could not make it to the AGM" in the picture. And a big thank you for what you do in the community. I always feel reassured when I pass one of the guards in Warner Beach, either when driving my car or going for a walk. I also hope more people will come on board.

May CCPO go from strength to strength.

Kind regards
Marjorie Kelly
