Last night my son went into Toti for a couple of drinks. Because he had been drinking he decided to walk and not drive home. Someone saw him and thought he might have been hijacked and reported his concern to CCPO who immediately responded. My son explained that he had not wanted to drive as he was over the limit and CCPO then offered him a lift most of the way home.
Many thanks CCPO, Blue Security and the unknown stranger who cared enough to see my son home safe. Its great to know we live amoungst people who care.

We had an attempted break-in yesterday. 11th Nov.  Alpha Alarms phoned me at work and reported that the alarm had gone off.   It was only when we return in the afternoon we noticed a metal pipe lying on the grass outside the bathroom window and realised that the bathroom window had been opened further than it should which had activated the alarm.

It appears whoever it was gained access from the property next door to us, but they had to come over a razor wire fence to do it!

Nothing damaged or taken, but still an attempt and maybe it shows that they are once again active in the Burne Road area!  We are still plagued with the dense vegetation at the back of the Burne Road properties which could hide an army.

To all at CCPO

Thank you very much for responding so quickly to my call regarding a possible break-in occurring at  Shepstone Road today.  It is a huge comfort knowing that there are so many caring people.  It was a silver Toyota Corolla with two b/males, one wearing a blue overall.  ADT did see their car parked on the off-ramp to Durban as I had indicated but then they disappeared.

They may have seen me watching them because as my husband said, if I can see them, they can see me, which probably made them go off.   Thank you once again to everyone for coming out.  You guys are amazing!

Kind regards,
Jenny
